Ah, spring! When a young man’s fancy turns to…bluegrass?

Frost bitten fingers. Heavy boots. Gray skies. Leafless trees. Depression. Anger. The throbbing of the metal plate in my head. All of these things and more lead me to be very dour and depressed from November through March. Life grinds to a sluggish, cold-induced depressing crawl during the winter when you live in Michigan.
