Steve, you can't imagine my utter disdain, hatred, and misery brought on by cold and snow. I promise that if I have to go out in it I will notice it, but provided I can hunker down in the hotel and not go out I'll be fine. I heard this rumor that people purposely go out in it, and that some will even travel to Colorado, FROM WARM STATES, and spend time outdoors in the ice and snow. I refuse to believe this kind of craziness happens, so I'll report back what I find. I am doubting I'll see this though.

And yes, I certainly hope to become a better teacher through all this. Stand by for that!

Hi Phill, thanks so much for the comment. I'm pretty excited. Keep an eye on my blog, because at this point I plan to make a blog entry each night from the camp. With all the jamming that will be going on I don't know if I'll make that or not, but I'm going to try. And no, I've never met Earl. He played in my area last summer but I had a gig and couldn't get there, dang it. Oh well.

Thanks and keep in touch!

Hey Paul,

Wow is right - Congrats!

I'll be checking back to see how things go! Only thing better would be Earl himself!

Have you ever met Earl Scruggs, BTW?
