This is a blog entry on a subject that I’ve blogged about before.  I wanted to touch on it one more time, this time with video. Even though I’ve given pretty thorough explanations in text about the virtues and benefits of this tool, there is still nothing like seeing it live in action. The “tool” is The Ultimate Metronome. This a metronome on steroids, and it has a feature built into it that can help a banjo player to gain speed in his/her right hand. One of the biggest challenges my students face is how to build speed. Ultimate Metronome to the rescue!
