The Banjos Rule 12 Days of Christmas: Day Twelve

twelve-days

A very Merry Christmas & "banjo greetings" to y’all!

We did it! We made it to Christmas 2010. I can’t believe the holiday has come and gone already. And, I can’t believe I managed to make it all the way through the Banjos Rule 12 Days of Christmas blog series as promised!

Banjos Rule

Today’s entry is going up a day late due to having had a full day on Chrismtas day, but I’m just proud to be putting up blog post #12 finally. I’m very very thrilled to have so many readers who followed the series and who continue to support me. You all make this banjo endeavor worthwhile and fun and I’m appreciative of each and every one of you.

Banjos Rule

I hope you don’t feel robbed if I don’t have any real pointers, lesson material, advice, or humor in this blog post. I’m just taking the opportunity to have a short one-on-one conversation with 14,000 of my closest friends as I finish up the blog series and get ready to usher in the new year. I’m eager as always to see what changes and developments the new year has in store for me, and it’ll be fun to have you along with me. 2010 held it’s share of excitement, disappointments, and twists and turns…as every year does I guess. One of the biggest challenges for me when it comes to my banjo playing is that the band I’ve been playing with for over 3 years, Rogue River Grass, has disbanded and is no more. This leaves me "groupless" without a ton of opportunity to get out my banjo and pick. I’m hoping that changes in the coming year.

Most of all, I want to thank you

Thanks for your friendship and support. Thanks for reading my stuff. Thanks for the comments at the end of my articles, and thanks for making purchases with me. I’ll look forward to helping you in any way I can in 2011. Keep in touch, say howdy, and if you can get anywhere near Michigan, let’s get together and PICK! Without further ado, I’ll sign off the Banjos Rule 12 Days of Christmas blog series. Have a great New Year holiday, a fantastic 2011, and oh yeah…as I always say, pick ‘em if ya got ‘em! Banjo Paul out!
